The Story Behind the Name
CPTINK LT stands for “Lieutenant”, and it’s more than a rank — it’s a continuation of the spirit that defines our brand. “CPTINK” draws inspiration from the word Captain — a symbol of leadership, courage, and vision. In this journey, a Lieutenant stands by the Captain — dependable, bold, and ready to take on challenges.
Our slogan, “INK BOLD,” reflects this very spirit: daring, fearless, and committed to breaking limits. Much like a lieutenant on the frontlines, we aim to empower tattoo artists to be bold in their expression and confident in their craft.
CPTINK LT is not just a machine — it’s a trusted companion for every artist, a reflection of shared values and shared missions.
Special thanks to @Eric Estrada whose inspiration and contribution gave this name deeper meaning.

The Art of Proportions and Curves
Great design begins with great proportions. We believe that beautiful aesthetics are not just a matter of taste, but of precise, intentional design.
CPTINK LT’s body is crafted around the Golden Ratio (0.618) — especially the relationship between the lower part of the battery and the overall form. This proportion creates a naturally pleasing and balanced silhouette.
Beyond the numbers, the entire shape of the LT follows a smooth and deliberate curve — from the top of the battery, through the stroke adjustment module, all the way down to the grip.
This continuous flow is not only visually elegant, but also ergonomically engineered — ensuring comfort and control even during long sessions.
Dual Grips: Designed for Versatility and Compatibility
CPTINK LT comes standard with two grips, each designed to serve different tattooing needs:
-
37mm Dual-Curve Grip: Wider and more palm-filling, offering excellent control and stability — ideal for lining work where precision matters most.
-
32mm Straight Grip: Lighter and more agile, designed to reduce hand fatigue — perfect for long shading sessions.
In addition, we’ve ensured full compatibility with CPTINK ONE grips. If you’re a CPTINK ONE user, your existing grips will work seamlessly with the new LT — no extra purchase required.
This dual-grip system is our way of respecting your workflow and offering maximum flexibility — so that whichever style you work in, the tool feels just right.
Rethinking Battery Design and User Interaction
With CPTINK LT, we set out to improve power efficiency and user experience — without adding bulk or weight.
Instead of simply increasing battery size, we made a smarter move:
We slightly reduced the battery capacity but integrated 20W fast charging, giving you 1 hour of runtime from just a 5-minute charge. Perfect for powering up during a short break — no downtime, no waiting.
For longer sessions, we offer a dual battery version — one in use, one charging — ensuring seamless operation for demanding artists.
We’ve also added a brand-new Dot Mode — a precision frequency mode that simulates dotwork-style tattooing. This unlocks new possibilities for artists who specialize in textures or stippling effects.
The redesigned UI is inspired by a performance dashboard, offering an intuitive, high-tech interface that looks as powerful as it performs.
Windowed Stroke Adjustment: Where Form Meets Function
Special thanks to @ Mark Skipper for their valuable feedback on CPTINK ONE — your insight inspired us to completely rethink how stroke adjustment should work.
In the original CPTINK ONE, some artists found that rotating or adjusting the grip could unintentionally change the stroke settings, leading to inconsistency during sessions.
To fix this, we made a major improvement in the LT model:
The stroke adjustment mechanism is now fully internalized, and controlled exclusively by rotating the battery. This means grip changes no longer interfere with stroke settings, ensuring precision and reliability at all times.
Hygiene is also a top priority in our design.
Instead of leaving the stroke window exposed, we sealed it with a layer of high-transparency bonded glass.
This keeps the device clean, prevents ink buildup, and enhances visual appeal. We invested heavily in this custom tooling and bonding process — not just for aesthetics, but to ensure that every artist can work with a machine that’s both beautiful and clean.
More Stroke Levels & Tactile Metal Buttons
We believe a great tattoo machine should be a tool that artists genuinely enjoy holding — one that feels just right in the hand. That’s why with CPTINK LT, we pushed even further on quality and tactile feel.
We doubled the number of stroke levels, going from 6 in the original CPTINK ONE to 12 finely tuned positions.
To maintain a clean design, the adjustment ring still shows only 6 markings, but internally, 12 steps are available — giving artists more flexibility without visual clutter.
The adjustment ring also features a refined rotational feel, with precise tactile feedback for each step — smooth, controlled, and satisfying.
For the most frequently used element — the power button — we upgraded to a CNC-machined solid metal design.
This not only enhances the look, but also delivers a crisp, durable click every time, giving artists better feedback and long-lasting comfort across countless sessions.
