Adjustable Frequency: More Than Voltage Control

Most traditional tattoo machines rely mainly on voltage adjustment to change machine performance. However, voltage is not the same as frequency. The same voltage may produce different real working results depending on the machine, needle configuration, and skin resistance.

CPTINK D1 supports direct frequency adjustment, with a frequency range of 2.6–167Hz.

Compared with simple voltage control, frequency adjustment allows artists to control the machine’s working rhythm more directly. Whether you need slow low-frequency control for delicate work or fast high-frequency output for smooth coloring, D1 provides a much wider adjustment range.

D1 is equipped with a PWM frequency-controlled constant-speed brushless motor. With an upgraded control chip and algorithm, it delivers more stable frequency output and can effectively reduce frequency fluctuations caused by needle configurations, skin resistance, and changes in working technique.

Stable frequency output helps achieve smoother color saturation and more consistent results. It can also reduce unnecessary repeated passes, helping minimize extra trauma to the skin.

Soft and Hard Modes: Balance Endurance, Heat, and Power

CPTINK D1 not only supports frequency adjustment, but also offers two output modes for different working needs.

Regular Mode / Soft Mode

Soft Mode is suitable for most daily tattooing scenarios, including fine lines, soft shading, smooth transitions, and general coloring.

In this mode, the machine runs more smoothly, generates less heat, and delivers longer battery life. It is ideal for long sessions where stable and comfortable handling is essential. For artists who prefer a softer hit and more delicate control, Soft Mode provides a smoother working experience.

Power Mode / Hard Mode

Hard Mode is designed for situations that require stronger power output, such as bold lines, large-area coloring, heavy saturation, and traditional-style work.

In Hard Mode, D1 provides a stronger pushing force and maintains stable power even at lower frequencies. This helps improve the common low-frequency weakness found in many traditional machines. For work that requires stronger penetration and higher efficiency, Hard Mode delivers a more direct and powerful response.

3–5mm Adjustable Stroke for More Creative Flexibility

In addition to adjustable frequency, CPTINK D1 also supports stroke adjustment.

D1 offers two stroke options:

• Fixed stroke version: 3.5mm / 4.0mm

• Adjustable stroke version: 3.0mm–5.0mm

The adjustable stroke version allows artists to manually adjust the stroke from 3mm to 5mm, covering a wide range of tattooing styles and techniques.

In general:

• 3.0mm–3.5mm: suitable for fine lines, soft shading, and smooth transitions;

• 3.5mm–4.0mm: suitable for all-around daily use;

• 4.0mm–5.0mm: suitable for bold lines, large-area coloring, and heavy saturation.

CPTINK D1 is CPTINK’s first tattoo pen powered by a direct drive brushless motor.

Compared with traditional cam-driven structures, the direct drive structure reduces mechanical transmission loss and allows power to be delivered more directly. The brushless motor also offers longer service life, more stable operation, lower noise, and reduced maintenance requirements.

D1 operates at approximately 20–35dB, tested without a cartridge needle installed. Its quiet and smooth operation helps artists stay focused and creates a more comfortable experience for clients.

2000mAh Battery + PD Fast Charging for Long Sessions

CPTINK D1 is equipped with a 2000mAh battery and supports USB-C PD fast charging.

In daily use, D1 can achieve:
